I think his superiority in tutoring would be because he understands it more than the common person - even someone who specializes in electromagnetic waves. When you look deep enough you understand how much more mysterious it is.. most people dont get to this level because they have a superficial and vain understanding.
Genius to be exact. Though, he never took an IQ test but based on how he looked at things differently than others he was predicted to be among the top 15 or so.
